In the latest transfer news from the Daily Mail, they state Manchester United will allow Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez to leave Old Trafford during the summer transfer window.
At this moment, the player is fourth in the attacking rotation, with the likes of Van Persie, Rooney and Welbeck all ahead of him in the selection for the starting XI. All of this has caused Hernandez to participate in only 15 matches in the Premier League (just 4 of them as a starter) this season, along with 3 matches in the Champions League and 6 games in both League and FA Cups.
According to reports from The Sun, Hernandez wants to leave so he can get more first team football. But, the true reason might be the rumors about the arrival of a new striker at Old Trafford. Of course, since Hernandez is only 25 years old, Manchester United can still get a decent offer for the Mexican striker.
The Daily Mail also claims that the Uruguayan striker Cavani will leave PSG this summer and sign a contract with Manchester United. According to that article, Cavani’s representative is in Manchester and in talks with the club’s representatives. The French club will probably try to regain part of the money they have invested in acquiring Cavani, and the price for the Red Devils would be around 54 million pounds.
If the rumors about transfer of Cavani to England are true, there is no doubt Hernandez will leave Old Trafford. In most major European teams, Hernandez would be a contender for a place in the starting team and that is surely best for his future.
