Tigres UANL is one of the early title-contenders as Los Felinos only have one loss in eight games played this season. The Nuevo Leon team is currently in fourth place with 17 points and is coming off a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Cruz Azul that snapped a six-game winning streak.
Andre-Pierre Gignac has clearly been the best player for Tigres this season and one of the best in the Liga MX with seven goals scored. The offense led by Gignac and Florian Thauvin has been fantastic, but the backline has been a major concern with 13 goals allowed.
