The Croatia vs Sweden UEFA Nations League match will be broadcast live online and on TV as the Blazers host the Blue-Yellow at Stadion Maksimir this Sunday, October 11, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific.

Croatia has had a terrible start to this Nations League with two losses in two games, but are coming off a 2-1 win against Switzerland in a friendly. The Blazers did face Portugal and France in their first two games as this is set to be a more even matchup against Sweden.

Croatia’s strongest component is still the midfield with players like Luka Modric, Ivan Perisic and Mateo Kovacic. While the attack has some intriguing options, it still has been very difficult to replace Mario Mandzukic since his retirement.

Sweden also has zero points in this Nations League with losses to France and Portugal as well. Gustav Svensson received a red card in Sweden’s last match against Portugal and will inclusively be unavailable for this match against Croatia.

The Blue-Yellow did defeat Russia 2-1 in a friendly match earlier this week as Alexander Isak and Mattias Johansson scored to give Sweden the win. Janne Andersson has a solid squad and has an especially intriguing attack with players like Alexander Isak, Emil Forsberg and veteran Marcus Berg.
