The Leon vs Club America Liga MX match will be broadcast live online and on TV as Los Esmeraldas host Los Azulcremas at the Nou Camp this Saturday, July 27, at 5:00 PM Pacific.
Leon was the Liga MX 2019 Clausura runners-up and is once again one of the top title contenders this season. Los Esmeraldas started off the 2019 Apertura tournament with a solid 3-1 away win against Pachuca and will be looking to stay in that great form.
Some of the new players that were brought in responded in that opening game as Ismael Sosa and Leonardo Ramos both scored against Los Tuzos. Young striker J.J. Macias also got on the board for the first time this season as he continues the form that made him one of the best Liga MX strikers last season.
Club America also had a nice start to the 2019 Apertura with a 4-2 win at the Estadio Azteca against Monterrey. Chilean striker Nicolas Castillo had a very nice start to the new tournament with two goals in the match as well as Colombian internationals Roger Martinez and Mateus Uribe, who also scored.
