River Plate finished fourth in the Superliga Argentina this past season and will look to improve in this upcoming tournament. Los Millonarios are also currently in the Copa Libertadores round of 16 as River Plate will play Cruzeiro next month.
La Banda has a very talented squad with some very experienced players like Lucas Pratto and Javier Pinola. Some of the more intriguing players on the team include some of the Colombian players on the team like Juan Fernando Quintero and Rafael Santos Borre.
