Mexico will host Cuba at the Rose Bowl this Saturday, June 15, 2019 (7:00 PM Pacific) for a Gold Cup group stage match.
Mexico has the best squad in the 2019 Gold Cup and is one of the favorites to win the trophy. El Tri will not count with several key players like “Chicharito” Hernandez and “Chucky” Lozano for the competition, but still have plenty of talent.
“Tata” Martino’s starting lineup for the game against Cuba has been leaked and the Argentine manager will use a strong lineup. It will be as follows: Guillermo Ochoa, Luis Rodriguez, Carlos Salcedo, Nestor Araujo, Jesus Gallardo, Diego Reyes, Carlos Rodriguez, Andres Guardado, Rodolfo Pizarro/Orbelin Pineda, Roberto Alvarado, Raul Jimenez.
It is unclear if Orbelin Pineda or Rodolfo Pizarro will start this match, but the rest of the starting 11 seems to be set. The biggest surprises are some of the younger players in the team like Carlos Rodriguez and Roberto Alvarado, but it was the lineup that was expected.
Mexico has a much better team than Cuba and this can prove to be a blowout by El Tri at the Rose Bowl.
