The highly anticipated Copa Libertadores final between Boca Juniors and River Plate starts this Saturday with the first-leg at Boca’s La Bombonera. Whenever Los Xeneizes and Los Millionarios meet it is known as the Superclasico, but the Argentina Football Federation came up with a special name for this rare event.
The AFA dubbed the final as the “Super Final De America” or “America’s Super Final” through a tweet with a video of the importance of the fixture. The name is very suitable as it will easily be the biggest football final in America this year and one of the biggest footballing events ever in the Americas.
It is already confirmed that Vladimir Putin and potentially other world leaders could be in attendance for at least the second-leg of the final. It will also be interesting to see what politicians, celebrities or football legends are present for either leg of the final and the amazing atmospheres at both La Bombonera and the Monumental.

Of course, this final can also bring the worst out of people given the extreme fan bases of both teams and severe security measures must be in place to avoid any tragedies.
