The Copa Libertadores final between archrivals Boca Juniors and River Plate should be one of the most thrilling football finals of all-time. This had never occurred in the Copa Libertadores and the intensity and atmosphere at La Bombonera and the Monumental should be like nothing that has been seen before.
Of course, the Superclasico is already generating global attention and Russian president Vladimir Putin has already confirmed that he will attend the second-leg of the final at River Plate’s Estadio Monumental.
The second-leg lines up with the G-20 Summit in Buenos Aires and Putin might not be the only world leader to attend the historic clash. The Russian leader was seen at World Cup games in his native country this year and has been known to be a fan of the global game.

Extra security measures will now have to be in place with high-caliber spectators like Putin and other leaders that might head to the Estadio Monumental from the G-20 Summit. However, the authorities seem to have it under control as they are set to have their hands full for the next couple of weeks in Buenos Aires.
