This Tuesday, November 6, 2018, a few Mexican-born players had action in matchday 4 of the UEFA Champions League. Hirving Lozano and Erick Gutierrez received minutes in PSV Eindhoven’s 2-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur, while FC Porto had a comfortable 4-1 win against Lokomotiv Moscow with the help of Hector Herrera and “Tecatito” Corona.
Lozano and Gutierrez did not have their best displays as “Chucky” played the entire match and received a yellow card while Gutierrez received just four minutes off the bench. The loss extinguished any hope of the Dutch side making it out of Group B as PSV still has two very tough matches left against FC Barcelona and Inter Milan.
Hector Herrera and Jesus Manuel Corona both played a significant role in FC Porto’s dominant win against Lokomotiv Moscow. The Dragons won 4-1 against the Russian side and “Tecatito” played 77 minutes and scored a goal while Hector Herrera captained Porto, played the entire game and contributed with a goal and an assist.

The Portuguese giants continue to lead Group D now with 10 points and have proven to be the best team by far in the group. Herrera and Corona now have two goals each in the UEFA Champions League as they continue to shine this season for Sergio Conceicao’s team.
De esta forma el ‘Tecatito’ Corona marcó el tercer gol del #Porto ante el #Lokomotiv. ⚽️
Al igual que Herrera, este es el segundo partido consecutivo de #Champions en el que Corona se hace presente en el marcador.
