Liverpool star Salah has spoken out about the relationship that exists between his teammates Mane and Roberto Firmino.
The Reds have started the 2018-19 season in tremendous form. They have so far won all five of their Premier League games played thus far. They also started this seasons Champions League on a bang by recording a 3-2 victory against French giants PSG on Tuesday.
Firmino netted the winners against Spurs last weekend as well as during the game against PSG. The Brazilian was, however, accused of being selfish during the game against the Lilywhites.
Salah has now weighed in and the Egyptian has said that both Mane and Firmino do not really care about who scores more goals.
As reported by France Football, Salah said: “We are friends, we talk a lot. Generally, all three of us sit in the dressing room at the same place, right after the matches,”
“There is a real solidarity between us because we do not care who will score the most or who scores first.
“Everyone works to make sure the other succeeds. And, as you can see, we all score.”
Liverpool fans can be excited for what lies ahead this season. Jurgen Klopp’s side surpassed expectations last season as they qualified for this season’s Champions League and also finished as the runners-up during last season’s edition of Europe’s premier club competition.
The Reds also may have found solutions to their problem areas since the start of the year. In January, they brought in Virgil van Dijk to solve their defensive issues and during the summer they brought in Alisson to solve the goalkeeping problem.
