More joy for Wolves and Raul Jimenez

Even though this is their first season back in the top-flight, many expect Wolves to challenge for a place in the top-half of the standings this season.

So far Nuno’s side have certainly shown that they are capable of achieving that. After five games, they sit in 9th place on the standings and have taken 8 points. This also included a creditable 1-1 draw against reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.

Wolves recorded their second successive victory as they defeated Burnley 1-0 on Saturday. Former England goalkeeper Joe Hart was in good form throughout the match and provided a blast from the past through a number of saves he made.

However, in the end, it was Wolves who proved to be the better side and Raul Jimenez went on to score the only goal of the game during the 61st minute.

Had it not been for good form from Hart combined with Wolves wasting opportunities, the scoreline would have probably been higher.

Throughout the game, the Clarets were mainly restricted to long-range efforts. The result will do nothing to eliminate the relegation contender tags which they have hanging over their heads this season.

The result will also add to the pressure that is on Burnley manager Sean Dyche.
