Chivas earned its fifth consecutive victory with a win over Morelia in the Copa MX, getting a 2-1 victory at the Estadio Morelos with a bunch of alternates (plus Pulido). This Copa MX victory secured Guadalajara a spot in the knockout rounds of the often overlooked cup. Chivas will now go on with great momentum to face Pachuca.
Pachuca have earned 8 points through seven Liga MX matches, and sit in 14th place. Pachuca have only won when playing at home, and hold a dismal away record of only 2 points earned out of a possible 9 away points. The Tuzos will certainly have a difficult time in Guadalajara.
