Guillermo Vazquez is no longer the manager of the port city side and is now going to be lead by Chilean manager Juvenal Olmos, who has not taken charge of a team in 11 years. Veracruz also has a very limited squad with the standouts being goalkeeper Pedro Gallese and striker and team captain Cristian Menendez. Los Escualos are coming off a 2-0 loss against Chivas de Guadalajara at the Estadio Luis “Pirata” Fuente and should also struggle heavily in this encounter.
