Club America has been one of the best teams in the Liga MX Clausura 2018 and has had a tremendous start in this CCL tournament. The Mexico City team defeated Saprissa from Costa Rica by an aggregate score of 6-2 in the round of 16.

Miguel Herrera has one of the most well-balanced teams in the CONCACAF region with players like Bruno Valdez in defense, Guido Rodriguez and Mateus Uribe in midfield, and Oribe Peralta and Jeremy Menez in the attack. “Piojo” even has some great players on his bench like Carlos Darwin Quintero and Henry Martin. Los Azulcremas are the better team in this matchup and will also rely on their home-field advantage.
Tauro pulled off one of the more surprising results in the round of 16 by defeating MLS team FC Dallas. The Panamanians tied the American side 3-3 on aggregate but went through to the next round on away goals. The main player to watch on the Central American side is veteran striker Edwin Aguilar, who scored two of Tauro’s three goals against FC Dallas.
Los Toros de Pedegral are struggling in the Panamanian league as they sit in eighth place after ten games. This seems like an impossible task for Tauro, especially at the Estadio Azteca, and it could turn out to be a very lop-sided result.
