The Daily Express have transmitted the news from the German outlet Sportsbild claiming that Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in signing TSG Hoffenheim rising star, Kerem Demirbay.

According to the reports, the Premier League giants are ready to meet Demirbay’s price, which is approximately £28 million.

The 24-year-old midfielder arrived the Rhein-Neckar-Arena from Hamburger SV and established himself as an indispensable first-team player ever since.

Demirbay has shown a exquisite quality in the Bundesliga over the last couple of seasons, even reaching the Europa League with Hoffenheim. He is known for powerful striking ability, excellent vision, and great passing skills.

After playing for all Turkey U-21, he eventually accepted Joakim Low’s call to perform for Germany.

Jurgen Klopp likes players from the Bundesliga, and after Emre Can, Ragnar Klavan, and Joel Matip, the Borussia Dortmund youth product could be his next acquisition.

However, Arsene Wenger is trying to conclude the deal before the summer, after terrible performances from Mohamed Elneny, and Klopp will have hurry up if he wants to secure his services.
