Andre Ayew has re-joined Swansea City from West Ham in a deal worth £18 million on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Swansea are currently on a good run of form having recorded victories over Liverpool and Arsenal during their last two Premier League encounters and they will be hoping that Ayew can help to further guide them away from the relegation zone.
Ayew struggled to receive regular game time at the Hammers this season with the likes of Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic being preferred above him and it comes as no surprise that David Moyes side have agreed to part ways with him.
Ayew previously left the Swans to join the Hammers for a fee of £20.5 million during the summer of 2016. During his time with the East London club, he went on to make 43 appearances, scoring nine goals.
Following their 3-1 victory over Arsenal on Tuesday, Swansea are currently in 18th position on the League standings, behind 17th placed Southampton on goal difference.
