Liverpool youngster Ovie Ejaria will spend the remainder of the season on loan with Championship strugglers Sunderland.
The 20-year-old joined the Reds from Arsenal in 2014 and went on to make eight first team appearances last season.
He has however not managed a single first team appearance this season so a loan spell is probably what he needs in order to regain confidence and play more regularly.
Ejaria will likely feature regularly for Chris Coleman’s side who are in grave danger of back-to-back relegations after being relegated from the Championship last season.
The Black Cats are in financial trouble and Coleman had to rely on loan signings to bolster his side this month.
“I’m really happy because I’ve wanted to go out on loan for a while to get regular first-team football under my belt,” he said.
“I’d say that I’m a player that likes to get on the ball quite a lot and make things happen, I’ll try to create chances and hopefully score some goals as well. I’ll always give 100 per cent and work hard for the team.”
