According to the Daily Express, Liverpool youngster Lloyd Jones has joined League Two side Luton Town on a permanent deal. The player has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.
The 22-year-old defender has struggled to find his place in the red shirt, spending most of the time on loan spells in the English lower leagues.
Last season, Lloyd played at Swindon Town, showing some glimpses of his potential, but it seems he failed to impress Jurgen Klopp to keep him in the squad.
The Hatters have had a magnificent season so far, as they are currently occupying the first place on the table.
However, the manager Nathan Jones is determined to secure League One promotion by bolstering his defense, as he identified the promising centre-back as an ideal reinforcement.
The former England U-20 international could get the necessary playing time at Kenilworth Road to develop his talents, and maybe return to the Premier League one day.
