According to the Daily Mail, Swansea officials are thinking about signing Liverpool’s forgotten man, Lazar Markovic, who is out of favor under Jurgen Klopp.
The 23-year-old winger arrived at Anfield from Benfica back in 2014 for a fee of £22.5 million, but never managed to break into the Reds first-team, spending majority of time on loans.
The former Partizan Belgrade star has spent the first part of the last season with Sporting Lisbon before returning to England to join Hull City on another loan.
This year, Markovic has been sidelined by manager Jurgen Klopp, not featuring in a single game in the red shirt. Therefore, the Serbia international is desperate to find a new club and revive his career, as he is hoping for reaching Serbia World Cup squad.
The same source claims that Markovic is already negotiating personal terms with the Swans, and Liverpool are eager to get rid of him before transfer session closes on Wednesday.
