The Daily Star have broadcasted the words of Duncan Castles speaking about the future of Gremio star Luan Vieira.

According to the renowned social media journalist, Liverpool and Gremio have discussed the 24-year-old forward earlier this month, but the potential move is likely to take place next summer.

The £16 million-rated player has been one of the best players in South America for the last couple of seasons, demonstrating tremendous potential in the blue-black shirt.

The 24-year-old is a versatile forward that can play on both wings, although his preferred position is behind strikers. He is known for his pace and excellent technique, combined with powerful striking abilities and lethal finishing.

Duncan Castles revealed that Brazilian could move to Anfield next summer after the Merseysiders opened negotiations with Gremio.

He said, “He’s a player that’s been watched by Liverpool for quite a long time. As far as I know, no conversations with Gremio as yet. There’s been exploratory over potentially a deal in January but more likely a deal in the summer.”

Luan is a type of player Jurgen Klopp likes, and he might be the ideal partner to Mohamed Salah and Robert Firmino in the final third.
