West Ham reportedly in talks to ex-Southampton attacker

According to reports, West Ham are in talks to sign former Southampton star Graziano Pelle, who is currently on the books of Chinese club Shandong Luneng.

David Moyes is exploring the possibility of signing the 32-year-old in order to bolster his frontline during the second half of the season as the East London club looks to avoid relegation.

It would be wize for the Hammers to add a new striker to their squad considering that Diafra Sakho is on the verge of joining Rennes and also given that Andy Carroll is out of action through injury.

Pelle is a proven scorer in England and went on to score 30 goals across two seasons with Southampton.

However since he arrived in China, 18 months ago, things have not exactly gone according to plan as he has only found the back of the net 12 times. The Chinese club are reportedly open to selling Pelle.
