Tottenham and Liverpool have been dealt a blow after Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster Morgan Gibbs-White agreed to sign a new deal with the promotion chasers according to the Sun.
Gibbs-White agreed to the new deal with Wolves on Saturday which also marked his 18th birthday and he will now remain at the club for the long-term.
Gibbs-White is one of the brightest young talents within the Wolves first-team and reportedly attracted interest from the likes of Spurs and Liverpool.
However remaining at Wolves was perhaps a good choice for him as he looks to develop himself further as a player.
Despite being talented, Gibbs-White has yet to firmly establish himself as a regular first team player within Nuno Espirto-Santo’s first team.
He should perhaps focus on this and could get the opportunity to play in the Premier League next season considering that Wolves do look likely to win automatic promotion to the top flight this season.
