Scottish side reportedly set to sign Aston Villa man

According to the Scottish Sun, Kilmarnock are edging closer to complete the loan signing of Aston Villa outcast Aaron Tshibola.

The Killie’s chief of staff, Steve Clarke, has been reportedly pushing for the transfer of the 23-year-old midfielder, whom he previously brought to Villa Park for £5 million back in 2016 during his time in the Birmingham Club.

The former Hartlepool United player has spent the first half of the season with League One side Milton Keynes Dons. However, he failed to make an impact, and the Lions have decided to take him back this winter, only to ship him off to another destination for some regular football action.

Steve Bruce appreciates the youngster, but he is well aware that Tshibola doesn’t have enough experience and games in his legs to answer the high Championship tempo.

However, it is still unknown whether the Scottish team will have the option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.
