Liverpool reportedly on high-alert regarding the availability of £30million man

Anfield

Liverpool have been put on high-alert after it has emerged that Monaco are open to listening to offers for talented youngster Keita Balde. Balde joined the Ligue 1 club during the summer from Lazio in a deal worth £30 million.

It now appears that Monaco Sporting Director Michael Emenalo has suggested that Balde is one of the players who could soon leave the club as they look to sell players and buy players cheaply.

Napoli are interested in bringing Balde back to Italy. However Liverpool’s need for more improvement was further highlighted after they fell to a 3-2 FA Cup defeat against Premier League strugglers West Brom on Saturday.

Liverpool have so far sold Philippe Coutinho this month and signed defender Virgil Van Dijk.

It however does not appear that they will be signing any new players this month with their next squad addition likely to come at the end of the season.
