According to reports, Everton are ready to offer Davy Klaassen to Inter Milan in a deal which would see Marcelo Brozovic arriving at Goodison Park.
However it has since been reported that Inter have knocked back the Toffees offer of Klaassen and said that they will only be open to listening to offers of a permanent transfer.
After arriving at Goodison Park from Ajax during the summer, Klaassen has not managed to establish himself at the Toffees and he does not look to be part of the future plans of manager Sam Allardyce, considering that his last Premier League appearance came in September.
Allardyce indicated earlier last week that the issue may be more than about talent when he said: “Mental strength and mental resilience,” said the Everton boss.
“Decision-making processes and general aptitude to physically be able to hit the levels of the Premier League (are what is required).”
