According to the Daily Mail, English Championship outfit Bristol City have entered the race for the signature of Kilmarnock forward and Rangers target Jordan Jones, with a late winter swoop on the cards.
The Light Blues have already seen a £350,000 bid knocked back for the 23-year-old earlier in the window, with Killie boss Steve Clarke slamming the offer as “nowhere near acceptable”.
Jones has also attracted Burnley, Hull City and Norwich with his performances – which earned him a first senior cap for Northern Ireland – this term.
Rangers are yet to return for the signature of the former Middlesbrough man who has scored and assisted thrice apiece in 26 games this term, but manager Graeme Murty claims he is not done with business in the window despite overseeing 6 arrivals at Ibrox.
Jones is a huge reason Kilmarnock are pushing for a top 6 finish, with the pace, dribbling and creativity of the left-side forward proving too much for defences.
He sure can help Rangers out wide, but it remains to be seen if he is still part of their transfer plans especially with Jamie Murphy already recruited on loan from Brighton.
