Jurgen Klopp reportedly rules out potential move for Bundesliga hotshot

The Birmingham Mail have broadcasted the words of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp speaking about the potential last-minute move for Borussia Dortmund superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has been strongly linked with Arsenal.

The German expert knows the 28-year-old forward since his time with the Black and Yellows.

Aubameyang has been one of the most lethal strikers in Europe over the last few years, winning the Bundesliga top-scorer award only last season.

His tremendous performances in Germany haven’t gone unnoticed, as several big European clubs are willing to allocate a significant amount of money to secure his services.

Some recent media reports have suggested that the Reds could try to hijack the deal after the sale of Philippe Coutinho.

However, Klopp has dismissed such an option during an interview, “Auba is really a good guy. Of course, reading the newspapers, you ask yourself if all these things must happen.”

“He is a great player, but he does not play in a position for which we urgently need new players.”

Premiership side Arsenal are currently leading the chase for the £60 million-rated striker.

The winter transfer market is in the final stage, and Liverpool are yet to find a quality reinforcement. The fans are frustrated by the management, and something could still happen during the last days of January.
