Italian giants reportedly interested in signing Celtic star

The Daily Star have broadcasted the news from the Italian portal Asromalive.it regarding the potential interest from Roma in Celtic forward Moussa Dembele.

According to the reports, Roma’s sporting director Monchi has set sights on the 21-year-old Frenchman in case Edin Dzeko moves towards Chelsea this January.

The former Fulham striker is by far the best player on Brendan Rodger’s team, and his possible departure would be a huge blow for Celtic.

Dembele arrived at Celtic Park from Fulham back in 2016 immediately establishing himself as an indispensable first-team member.

Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion have been chasing the powerful striker since the beginning of January. However, it seems Dembele is not convinced with a potential move to the Seagulls, as he’s waiting for more important offers.

The Hoops fans are already furious with the club’s transfer policy and lack of signings, and the eventual sale of Dembele during the last days of the transfer market could only make the whole situation worse.
