The Liverpool Echo have reported the news regarding the future of Liverpool target Julian Brandt. The Bayer Leverkusen forward has reportedly decided to stay in Bundesliga for at least one more season.

The 21-year-old winger is considered one of the brightest talents in Europe following the exquisite performances with Bayer Leverkusen over the last couple of years.

Brandt has been showing tremendous potential since breaking into the Leverkusen’s first team back in 2014 earning a call from Joachim Low at the age of 19.

The German hotshot had enjoyed an excellent first half of the season with the Company XI, scoring four goals and providing four assists in 19 Bundesliga appearances.

Along with Leon Bailey and Leon Goretzka, Brandt has proved to be one of the most exciting prospects in the German championship, attracting the interest from several important European clubs, including AC Milan and Barcelona.

As things stand, Klopp will have to look for other alternatives.
