Leeds United have officially signed the 18-year-old striker Sam Dalby from Leyton Orient according to the Daily Express.
The Whites manager Thomas Christiansen has been looking for a new striker since the beginning of the transfer market. And, after a couple of failures, it seems he has finally managed to capture a new signing.
The talented forward has had a solid first half of the season in the National League collecting 16 appearances and scoring one goal.
The promising English footballer is a versatile player who can play as a centre-forward and as a second striker, but due to lack of experience; it might be hard for him to break into the Leeds first-team already this season. He will most likely perform for Leeds Under-23 squad.
Dalby is still a teenager, and Leeds need a proven goalscorer, so it would be interesting to see whether he will be ready for the challenges in Championship.
The current situation could force Christiansen to continue his pursuit of a new bomber.
