According to the Daily Record, Rangers midfielder Jordan Rossiter is a wanted man back in England, with League One table-toppers and Championship-bound Wigan Athletic keen on sealing a move for the 20-year-old.
The former Liverpool starlet only returned to training on Monday having been on the injury sidelines since the start of the season, but it hasn’t stopped an offer from coming in.
Rossiter has played just 10 first-team games for Rangers since arriving from Merseyside 18 months ago for £250,000.
Given how his career in Scotland has been injury-hit since the get go, the temptation to return home could see him push for the Wigan move.
The former England youth international definitely wants to return to England in the future, and with the opportunity to play in the Championship by August beckoning, the time could be now.
Rangers won’t be keen to let Rossiter go considering he still has a lot of time to fulfill his potential, but his injury woes remain a worry.
