Inter Milan have reportedly lodged a bid for Daniel Sturridge but whether the striker eventually moves from Anfield to the Italian club will ultimately depend on his own decision.
The Italian giants are hoping to secure the services of the England international this month and are more than happy to pay his wages.
Sturridge has struggled to earn regular game time at the Reds this season due to good performances from the likes of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino and he will need to find a new club before the end of this month if he wants to keep alive his chances of winning selection to the England squad which will travel to the 2018 world cup.
Sturridge joined the Reds in 2013 and has gone on to score 64 goals for the club from 133 appearances.
The highlight of his time at Merseyside was when he formed a lethal combination with Brendan Rodgers during he 2013-14 season and nearly helped guide Liverpool to Premier League success.
