According to the Daily Star, Middlesbrough, Leeds United and Aston Villa have all joined Cardiff City in the race for Blackburn Rovers’ Bradley Dack. The 24-year-old midfielder arrived at Ewood Park last summer from Gillingham for a reported fee of £750,000.
The Sun have implied that Rovers have already rejected a £4 million offer from Cardiff, as they are looking for Championship promotion this year.
Dack has had an impressive first half of the season, scoring 11 goals. He is a versatile midfielder that can operate equally well as a left or right midfielder, although his primary position is in the center of the park.
A tenacious box-to-box midfielder, Dack is a tireless runner who possesses a decent technique, combined with solid passing abilities.
The Whites and the Lions are both seeking quality reinforcement in the midfielder area, but they’ll have to beat the Bluebirds, as Neil Warnock seems determined to boost his crew with the former Braintree Town player.
It would be difficult for Tony Mowbray to keep his in-demand star, especially given the fact all interested clubs are currently battling Premier League promotion.
