Sky Sports have broadcasted the news from Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport about the potential interest from Liverpool in Inter Milan’s midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. According to the same reports, Tottenham Hotspur have already approached the Italian club to ask for Brozovic’s availability.

The 25-year-old Croatian international is on his way out from San Siro, after falling out of favor with the manager Luciano Spalletti.

The former Dinamo Zagreb player is a powerful box-to-box midfielder, with strong shooting abilities. However, this season, the former Roma chief of staff has used Borja Valer, Matias Vecino, and Roberto Gagliardini over him. So, he might leave the Nerazzurri seeking a regular first-team action.

Jurgen Klopp is pushing for new signings in midfield, after Philippe Coutinho left the club to join Barcelona, and a certain departure of Emre Can, who seems close to finding the agreement with Juventus.

The Merseyside club will have to beat the competition from Mauricio Pochettino, who is determined to boost his squad ahead of the Champions League knockout stage battle with Juventus.
