Speaking ahead of his side’s game against Everton this weekend, West Brom boss Alan Pardew said that the Toffees are currently going through “a tricky period”. Everton endured a woeful start to the campaign and ended up sacking Ronald Koeman.
Following the appointment of Sam Allardyce as manager, their performances improved but they have however been poor recently again as they have gone on to lose their past four games in all competitions.
The Merseysiders will however be hoping that their new signings CenkTosun and Theo Walcott will be able to bolster their attack which has been particularly woeful during the first half of the season for the remainder of this term.
“Everton are in a tricky period right now but I know Sam and he’ll be readying them,” Baggies boss Pardew said.
“It’s a tough place to go and they’ve signed a couple of new players.”
Pardew’s side meanwhile ended a 20 match winless run last weekend as they defeated Brighton 2-0.
