According to reports, Newcastle are interested in signing Aaron Lennon from Everton.
The Magpies are looking to bolster their side this month ahead of the second half of the season as they look to move further away from the relegation zone.
The winger was reportedly offered to Newcastle in 2014 while he was on the books of Tottenham and ended up moving to Everton instead in 2015.
The 30-year-old Lennon’s current contract at Goodison Park will expire at the end of the season and Everton will have to sell him now or else they will risk losing him for free at the end of the season.
Magpies fans may not be keen on adding another winger to their side considering that they already have Christian Atsu, Matt Ritchie and Jacob Murphy within their ranks.
With the Magpies having financial constraints, they may have to look at cheaper options as they aim to bolster their side.
