Celtic reportedly interested in bringing in Croatian duo this January

Celtic vs Hearts

The Daily Record have broadcasted the news from Croatia regarding potential interest from Celtic in two HNK Rijeka players, Dario Zuparic and Filip Bradaric.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has already reiterated there will be more acquisitions this January, as some players are on their way out.

Erik Sviatchenko has already joined his former club Midtjylland on loan, and Jozo Simunovic is expected to leave Celtic Park by the end of the transfer window. So, Dario Zuparic might arrive as a backup option for Marvin Compper and Mikael Lustig.

On the other hand, Bradaric is a strong midfielder that can bring some power to the Hooks midfield.

However, the player has recently stressed his will to remain at Rujevica until the end of the season to enhance his chances of featuring the Croatia World Cup squad.

Both players lack international experience, and it is still unknown how much would Rijeka ask for the duo, so these transfers remain highly improbable.
