According to reports, Sunderland are interested in signing Manchester City striker Lukas Nmecha.
The 19-year-old made his first team debut for City against Leicester in the Carabao Cup last month and is reportedly available for loan.
It is unlikely that Nmecha will get much game time with the Citizens so him going on loan will help him to get valuable experience as well as try to prove to the City hierarchy that he is worth consideration for the first team.
Sunderland meanwhile desperately need to add a new striker to their side after losing top scorer Lewis Grabban who was recalled by parent club Bournemouth.
Meanwhile Dider Ndong’s future at Sunderland remains up in the air with French club Toulouse reportedly interested in recruiting him.
The Gabon international is also reportedly a target of Premier League side Watford who want to take him out on loan.
