According to reports, Liverpool could challenge PSG in the race to sign Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that he will not be looking to sign a new shot-stopper this month, however the Merseysiders are expected to be on the search for a new keeper during the summer with Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius both proving to be inconsistent during the opportunities that have been handed to them.
PSG have indicated an interest in the Slovenia international and Liverpool could face a difficult task considering that the French giants are one of the best teams in world football.
Oblak’s current contract with Atleti includes a release clause of £89 million but the Reds will be looking to negotiate a lower fee.
The 25-year-old also recently confirmed that he has yet to have talks with Atleti over signing a new contract to remain at the club.
