Roma goalkeeper Alisson has admitted that he is flattered to hear that Liverpool are interested in him and added that a transfer could possibly happen at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old reportedly said: “It’s always a pleasure to know that [big] clubs are keeping an eye on you. Maybe we talk about it in June.”
The Reds are likely to look to sign a new keeper at the end of the season as neither Loris Karius nor Simon Mignolet have been able to convince that they can keep the first-choice position on a regular basis.
Alisson has been in brilliant form for Roma this season and is also the first-choice keeper for Brazil under Tite. He is a good shot-stopper and in addition to this, he also has good footballing skills and is able to play a sweeper role behind a high defensive line which would be ideal for a club like Liverpool.
