Arsenal star reportedly could move to Turkey to replace Everton signing

According to reports, Turkish club Besiktas are eyeing Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck as a replacement for Cenk Tosun who recently joined Everton.

Tosun was impressive for the Turkish giants this season and went on to score 14 goals from 24 appearances which led to his move to Everton.

Since arriving at Arsenal from Manchester United in 2014, the 27-year-old Welbeck has struggled to earn regular game time with the Gunners and has managed just 22 goals from 90 appearances.

Besiktas manager Senol Gunes reportedly believes that Welbeck could be a good replacement for Tosun.

The Turkish club have reportedly sent representatives to England to open talks over potential signings with Welbeck the main priority.

Despite the fact that Welbeck is not a first team regular within the Arsenal first team, Arsene Wenger is likely to be hesitant to part ways with him considering that the club could be set to lose Alexis Sanchez as well as Theo Walcott.
