Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland has reportedly emerged as a target for Liverpool next summer.
Both Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet have failed to convince that they can be long-term first choice options for the Reds and there is a strong chance that the club will look to buy a new shot-stopper at the end of the season.
Butland has established himself as one of the top keepers in the Premier League and there is now a good chance that he will be first-choice for England at the world cup after Joe Hart was demoted to being second choice at West Ham.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp certainly has the funds to bring in Butland after his club sold Philippe Coutinho this month to Barcelona for £140 million.
Since joining the Potters from Birmingham City in 2013 for a fee of £4 million, Butland has gone on to make 73 appearances.
