Celtic midfielder reportedly on his way out of Celtic Park

Celtic vs Hearts

According to reports, Celtic midfielder Eboue Kouassi could be on his way out of the club this month with Belgian club Standard Liege said to be interested in signing him.

After moving to the Hoops from Russian side FC Krasnodar last January, Kouassi has struggled to establish himself within Brendan Rodgers first team and has gone on to make just nine appearances for the club, four of which came off the bench.

Kouassi is likely to be keen to play first team football elsewhere and will likely be open to moving to Belgium. As Standard have a limited transfer budget, they will likely look to bring in the Ivorian to their clb on loan.

Celtic meanwhile have continued their good form this season and look destined to win yet another Scottish Premiership title as they have an eight point lead in the standings over second placed Aberdeen.
