Midfielder reportedly asks agent to enable his move to Liverpool

Anfield

Spanish portal Diario Gol reports that Real Madrid star Daniel Ceballos wants to leave Santiago Bernabeu this January.

He has apparently informed his agent to cut a deal with Florentino Perez and manager Zinedine Zidane that would allow him to move to Liverpool.

The 21-year-old playmaker arrived at Real Madrid last summer from Betis after excellent performances last season, but, he failed to find the space in the first team amid the presence of Luka Modric, Casemiro, and Toni Kroos.

Dani wants to enhance his chances to feature World Cup with Spain, and he is looking to find a regular first-team action.

Spain U-21 international is a versatile midfielder, who can play as a deep-lying playmaker and as a central midfielder. He has excellent technique and vision, combined with good passing and shooting abilities.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a great admirer of the talented midfielder and would gladly welcome his arrival.

For now, Zidane is refusing to let Ceballos move away in January, but it would be hard to keep the player against his will.
