Liverpool receive huge boost ahead of Manchester City clash

Liverpool have received a boost ahead of their clash against Manchester City this weekend after Mohamed Salah made a return to full training.

The Egypt international has missed his side’s last two games due to a groin problem but is now in line to return during the Reds Premier League clash against City at Anfield.

Salah has been one of the biggest threats in the Premier League this season having scored 17 goals from 21 Premier League games and though City will go into the weekend clash as favourites, he could pose a serious threat to Pep Guardiola’s side and help the Reds get something from the match.

Daniel Sturridge, who has been linked with a move away from Liverpool, meanwhile also took part in the session.

Sturridge has been out for the last month due to illness and a hamstring injury and his future is uncertain after dropping down the pecking order.
