Rangers reportedly not interested in striking duo recently linked with January arrivals

Rangers have recently been linked with January moves for Fleetwood Town striker Devante Cole and Nottingham Forest man Jason Cummings, but the Daily Record claims the Light Blues aren’t keen on either of the duo.

The Light Blues were contacted for comments regarding both 22-year-olds, and they did play down the reports linking them to an Ibrox switch.

With Kenny Miller out injured, it’s expected of Rangers to land another striker in order to provide necessary and quality backup for Alfredo Morelos.

Manager Graeme Murty has helped the team keep up with Aberdeen in the race for 2nd place finish, with the Gers heading into the winter break just 3 points behind the Dons.

Having secured loan deals for Jamie Murphy and Sean Goss from Brighton and QPR respectively, some more deals are expected to be gotten over the line, and fans will be hoping one for a striker or two is amongst them.

Both Cole and Cummings would have been great additions to Rangers despite proving themselves only in the English and Scottish lower divisions, but they were never on the club’s radars and won’t be arriving Ibrox this month.
