Everton receive a huge injury boost as star returns to training

Everton have received a boost as manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed that Seamus Coleman has returned to training following a ten month spell on the side lines due to injury.

Allardyce said on Tuesday night: “Seamus Coleman is due back. He has started training.”

The defender picked up a terrible injury following a challenge from Neil Taylor while he was on international duty and has had to miss every game his club have played this season thus far.

Coleman is one of the most experienced and reliable performers in the Everton first team so this will certainly be a massive boost to the club.

No date has been given as to when Coleman will return but the fact that he has returned to training indicates that a return is close.

The 29-year old has so far made more than 200 appearances since he joined the Toffees from Irish club Sligo Rovers in 2009.
