Boost for Everton and West Ham as target wants to leave current club

Walcott

Everton and West Ham linked Theo Walcott reportedly wants to leave Arsenal on loan this month in order to boost his chances of making the England squad for the 2018 world cup.

The 28-year old has managed to make 15 appearances this season, nine of which have come in Cup competitions.

He is the longest serving player at the club, having joined from Southampton back in 2006 and Arsene Wenger wishes to see him remain at the club.

Southampton have shown interest in signing their former academy product but his £140k a month salary could prove problematic.

Walcott is going to be desperate to play as regularly as possible during the second half of the season as he looks to raise his chances of making the England squad for the world cup.

At 28, he still has his fast pace and could be a good addition to a mid-table side in the Premier League.
