Everton reportedly set sights on French attacker

According to The Sun, Everton may try to sign Celtic forward Moussa Dembele in January transfer window. Brighton & Hove Albion have been the main candidates to acquire the young Frenchman so far.

It seems that Dembele’s career at Celtic Park is nearing its end, with numerous clubs approaching Celtic to ask for his availability. Everton are the next ones in the line.

The Goodison club have been suffering after Romelu Lukaku’ departure and despite the arrival of Cenk Tosun recently, manager Sam Allardyce is looking to bring anoter quality striker in January as Dominic Calvert-Lewin has proved to be inconsistent, while Sandro Ramirez has failed to make an impact since coming from Malaga last summer.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is not willing to relinquish his best player, especially because it will be very complicated for Celtic to find a proper replacement for Dembele.

The January transfer window has just started, and there will be a lot of speculations around Dembele, so this news should be taken with a grain of salt.
