Celtic reportedly take surprise action with star attacker

Celtic vs Hearts

According to the Daily Star, Celtic striker Moussa Dembele could be on his way out from Celtic Park, after the club decided to put him on sale.

Brighton & Hove Albion could be his next destination, as English club has been the most serious candidate for his signature so far. Brighton will reportedly have to pay around £18 million for the services of the 21-year-old French international.

Dembele impressed since his arrival at Celtic Park from Fulham in 2016, and his performances haven’t gone unnoticed.

However, after the recent unsavoury incident that occurred during the derby match against Rangers, the Celtic’ officials have allegedly decided to put young Frenchman on sale, and Brighton are in pole position to sign him.

Given the fact that Dembele is one of the most prolific strikers in the UK, his £18 million price tag is a bargain, considering the current prices on the transfer market.
